Chains are used extensively throughout the towing industry. The many varied
applications require different configurations as well as different chemistries. There are many types and grades of chain available for industrial use.

The ultimate strength as well as the working load limit for each grade
increases respectfully from Grade 28 through grade 100. Federal and many state
regulations dictate the proper use and selection of chains.

GRADE 70 TOW CHAINS
Tow Chains aka Safety Chains are used on both sling trucks and car carriers. They are used to tie down and secure a vehicle once it is hoisted on the sling truck or positioned on the carrier deck. We offer 12 configurations to best suit the individual needs that professional tow truck operators require. All components are forged Grade 70. Fully yellow chromate plated. Individually boxed. Tagged with metal "Working Load Limit" tag.
Car Carrier V Chains
Grade 70 V Chains - Standard Length
“V” Chains aka Chain Bridles are used in loading rolling vehicles up on to a car carrier deck. We offer 5 configurations to best suit the individual needs that professional tow truck operators require. All components are forged Grade 70. Each assembly has two 24” legs of 5/16” Grade 70 chain with grab hooks at the top for adjustment. Fully yellow chromate plated. Individually boxed. Tagged with metal “Working Load Limit” tag.
Car Carrier V Chains - Longer Lengths
Grade 70 V Chains - Extra Long Length
These V Chains have all the same characteristics as our Standard V Chains, only they have an extra 12” of chain per leg. Each chain leg has 36” of chain, enabling the operator an extra long reach. Fully yellow chromate plated. Individually boxed. Tagged with metal “Working Load Limit” tag.

Heavy duty Tag
Each chain is also tagged with a heavy duty steel tag that is stamped with the chain size, the Grade 70 and the Working Load Limit. Makes State inspections much easier.
